We want loot from bosses, not hardened sap.

It's very irritating to go through an entire extreme dungeon and get nothing but filtered water, hardened sap, and coke.

Nobody fights bosses for crafting materials. Keep those in side chests instead of hi-potions.

What other loot do you have in mind should drop there if not mats/DL gear?

tbh, I'd rather take that hardened sap than some DL gear, but maybe you have another better plan of what should drop there.

I like the coke, hardened sap, lime sulfur drops..... they sell fro 4k-8k on the market boards.... and most idiots "pass" on that loot so i get it 50% of the time.

there have been some dungeons that i get 2-3 crafting drops.... plus the tank bonus, and it ends up being a 20k gil expert dungeon... Sweetness.... plenty of gil to work on my 7th and 8th relic materia for my SCH/SMN

You can still get said mats off side chests, and the people that want equipment can get them off boss chests instead of 7g Filtered water and 120g Cooking Sherry.

I have to agree. Must be because I don't craft, but to me it's such a huge disappointment to run through any of the expert dungeons and have cooking sherry be the loot from the last chest. I'm still trying to get the shikaree doublet for vanity, but I've only seen it drop once since these dungeons were implemented. I've only seen the hussar body once. I've never seen the magician body. I say mix the crafting mats with the chests that usually drop darklight jewelry. Maybe people would actually get those chests if they wanted crafting mats, instead of always skipping them to save a few seconds.

Wow cooking sherry for 120g? We're lucky if we get 2g for it on my server.

Also, the gear you get in the HM dungeons can be turned in for company seals (800 each), which can in turn be exchanged for the crafting mats.
