This is about correct, but even then, your sort of wasting time in this game NOT watching a vid or 2 before going into a end game fight before hand. They are just too complicated to do otherwise and you are too dependent on the other players. The plague of youtube warriors has been here since day one, and it will never go away. If you do not know a fight, that is what duty finder is for. If you are in a party finder, and do not know what a fight is, especially if it is a group listed as a kill group / farm group, you are going to get chastised for it. Otherwise, you were not wrong for going into t4 without previous knowledge in duty finder.
thats thing goes on the other side too saying youtuber are dependent on the other player to create video too... so when i enter a DF that ask me to watch video i should say to leader hummm hey wait 30min ill watch the video of the fight cos you want me to watch it ... LOLLLL when its only take 5sec to say some nice hints
the point is not the hints of the boss fight we dont want to know ....its to see the whole dungeon and the mob how they look like before going in it in real ...like some like to watch cutscene but SR hate so much
anyway why do i care about youtuber point of view when you(youtubers) dont care about OUR point of view .....
me like i said on the box it's not wroted requirement to watch youtube video or wroted in the TOS. And we wont get Ban for not doing it.
And for the one saying about going for surgery hummm Yeah like youtube video will help in that ...but school make you learn by doing it yourself on some dead animal or body ... your not just watching a video how to do it ..but doing it right???? cos being there in the room seing the real thing is better idea then seing a video ... so your comment is not so relevent

You do realize there are very informative videos that explain every mechanic right?
Just search "boss name mrhappy".
Your argument is so flawed it hurts.thats thing goes on the other side too saying youtuber are dependent on the other player to create video too... so when i enter a DF that ask me to watch video i should say to leader hummm hey wait 30min ill watch the video of the fight cos you want me to watch it ... You are supposed to know BEFORE you join what to do, do not click the button of join party if you are not prepared. Do you also come in with all gear broken in dungeons or something? Lets just take t5 for instance. You really someone explaining every single mechanic (conflag/fireballs/divebombs/the protection thing i forgot the name off/twisters/dreadnaughts/death sentence) in 5seconds? Has to be the world fastest typer in existence.
Oh and stop trying to use youtuber as some kind of insult.

I was hoping for this name to come honestly.
Just search "titan ex mrhappy" and tell me again how useful it was
*hint : it's about totally wrong on all the rotations*

WOW so you are the master of the game now???????? huh ???
and i can use youtuber since some use NOOB or other word to discribe new people too
ANYWAY like i said ..... IF IT'S NOT IN THE TOS ........every people (NOT PART OF SE DEVELOPPER OR COMUNITY and i mean all of ff14 creaters) have no right on tell us what to do or force us to do that. THE GAME WAS MADE AND SOLD FOR EVERYONE ....for complainer about news people or people who look youtube ....their is Party finder ...if you USE Duty Finder don't complain.
And like i said in many Dungeon i did many time ...at some place there is tactic to talk about .... like bards .. who silence first and who is next ... who do ballad first then who do next .... who is MT and who is OT ... so dont tell me you guy goes in it .. and anyone silence without caring both just double silenced becose they didnt prepare ...youtube wont tell you :your the first one to silence ... cos if its was like that ,the other bard would think it too .. and there wont have any organization
ANYWAY its pointless with you guy ..... till the dev or SE tell us : YOUTUBE is obligatory for dungeon...... YOU player ...for me its like work ... SE is like my BOSS and you guy are my level ..even if you tell me what to do .. you just an employer you have no right to boss me around. ...So like i said you guys have no right to tell us or force us to watch videos ... you have the right to hate us : (we dont mind) ...

Always love this issue
Are you wrong to expect people to be prepared? For harder/endgame content...no
Are you wrong for not looking it up? When you used duty finder also no ( but personally i would still look down on this)
Most of the players with a more hardcore mindset will look up videos etc to best prepare for fights. It helps most people, doesn't mean 1 shot kills either but can save time and reduce the number of wipes.
The game is far less hardcore then most mmo's and as such brings more casual players who are not used to this. ( i did not think to look up videos etc when i started playing wow)
I stopped explaining things to people a long long time ago( I'm sick and tired of it). If some one needs to know tactics and no one else is willing to tell them then i would suggest they look up a video. if they don't like to do that ( the old its spoils things BS)
Then i tell them to read a text based guide, ( honestly the text based guide will explain it better anyway).
If someone cant be bothered to do either.... they have no place in the party.

Started fresh at ARR launch, have now almost every class at 50, and still haven't dared to step into any lv50 party content because of all these horror tales >_<; Reading screenshots like this sure is discouraging.
I'll wait a little bit longer and enjoy the game while I still can~
But still on side of video seeing ... me like i said many post im dyslexia ... reading doesnt help me ... and video dont either ... and anyway Why did SE imput the Echo buff if its not to try without knowing and learn if die cos not prepare even if not learned much we have a buff that help little to less struggles ... so why do we need to kneel down before all of you who think the game is your creation and you decide everything for everyone cos you did all the end game?????? if most people jump off a bridge doesnt mean i will too ... Point ended i stop posting here
So basically when new content is released, people are expected to sit and wait until videos/guides are produced
before they can take part in it without ridicule. Going in blind is out of the question.
"We'll do T6 after someone else beats it first lol @ going in with no knowledge."
Wow, sounds like a fun time.![]()
