Yeah I know I'm off topic, just responding. But I think OP's point was actually that someone with not even a level 1 CNJ took an i95 WHM wand. That's quite different to a level 50 Tank rolling on level 50 Tank gear. If you can roll need, you're allowed to roll need. It's not really up to someone else to dictate what "need" means.

And this is exactly why the system is fine as is....because everyone else has their own variation of what 'need' means (usually spun in their favor btw).

If you WANT/NEED something, enter with friends (a full group of friends), or enter on the roll the item is for. Otherwise, accept the odds that if the item drops, you might not get it.

And folks, it's pretend stuff....that will be replaced by 'better' pretend stuff down the line. The amount of butt-hurt over pretend stuff is way too high.
