When will BLM be buffed?

We all know that it was announced BLM will be buffed. And the main reason is because they are weak in Coil 2.

So, will we see buffs prior to Coil 3? If BLM's are weak in Coil 2, then they need to be buffed before Coil 2 is obsolete.

They do actually. A lot of movement involved.

That's true, but in fights that require a lot of movement they'll still be on the lower end of the DPS totem pole. Having 'enough' dps doesn't really matter if they're still last place on heavy movement fights.

Yet easily #1for AOE. It's called a trade off but people these days want to be the best at everything.

The buff dont even have to do with the movement. Is because the dmg they do dont escalate well with gear, like they have a soft cap on dmg. The new gear dont benefit as well as the other clases.

trade-offs are meaningless when the content is so streamlined. they are not going to have top end content with AOE DPS checks, that will create a large imbalance in the other direction and you'll get all the other jobs asking for buffs to AOE damage.
