    Turn 6 OT Question

    Hi guys.

My Static and I have been clearing Turn 6 for a few weeks now, but something we've noticed lately (maybe since the latest patch, but I'm not sure), is that our OT Paladin keeps being killed by the Acidic Honeys that drop during Acid Rain.

He is not, and I repeat NOT using Circle of Scorn on them, and is only using Flash to pick up and hold the Slugs.

We've now come to the conclusion that it is his Flash hitting the Honeys, but are wondering if this should be the case, as it didn't seem to happen before.

Anyone else had this problem at all?

PLD OT should have enough time between leaf and acid rain (when slimes pop) to lob/mark a slug, circle and flash twice to get a good grasp on hate. After that, take a few steps away from honeys and continue flashing, HG during SS, etc. with healers/dps stacked with you.

Should work just fine doing that.

Yes, Flash will trigger the Honey's counterattack. Just run away a bit before you finish dumping your MP on the slugs

Yeah, that's how we do the first set, it usually happened on the second set when the OT was trying to hold the Slugs at the same time as DPSing Raffles.

In the end we decided to have the OT grab the Slugs, stack with everyone else for Acid Rain, and then move right to the back so that he is still in the line of fire for the laser. Our DPS is pretty good and we only take one Honeyglaze before pushing into the final phase, so we're in no danger of hitting the enrage without his DPS after the second Leafstorm.

I'd recommend (for the second set) to have the tank just run laps around the arena to kite the slugs and to keep his screen turned where he can see the raid. Once that blue circle appears above someone head, he can cut through the middle to take the laser and move back to kiting the slugs.

This will limit the damage he receives to basically nothing, he can spam flash while not near the honey's, and throw in some attacks/shield lobs when ever he's close enough to raf. As long as he watches for that indicator, he is free to move where ever he pleases.

I flash spam until he start acid rain. Then wait for the cast bar to finish and run the slugs to ralf. I TP The boss to keep my MP up and continue to spam flash.
    (We don't kill any slugs)

If you are doing the super slug do the same as above but after the slug pops voke, HG and halone combo it. Leave the other 2 slugs alive and hold them while TPing the boss.
