Market: Purchasing multiple singles or partial stacks

I more often have the opposite problem... that I need one, or five, of something, and everyone's only selling stacks of 99. Le Argh.

Is it not the case that you can sell multiples of the same item via the same retainer? Perhaps players need to start splitting up the items their selling or SE could make it so it could happen if it can't as it is?

With there being a tax on the items you sell via the market, I can see a reason why there'd be a minimum amount I'd like to sell at a time.
