    Question about delay and unresponsiveness on client side

    Hi everyone, I stopped playing mostly for this problem after my first month ended just after the first month of the game.

    Doing a search to see if this problem was still present yields me with this accepted bug:
    [GAMEBREAKING] Ability/moving objects delay and unresponsiveness (affects everybody)

    This was posted on 09-03-2013 and the last update was on 09-05-2013, since it seems it was never moved to a different section confirming if it was fixed or if anyone was going to do anything about it and we are so many months latter i was wondering if this is still an issue ingame.

    Can anyone confirm if this is still a big problem or if they fixed this? I would really enjoy starting over and reactivating my account but I really though it wiser to check if the main reason I left still exists.

    There were some latency fixes a while back... but honestly people complain about this stuff all the time. Lag does exist, you'll just have to see if it affects you or not.

    I rarely hear people complain about getting hit by stuff they moved out of anymore unless they're playing from australia or something. So that issue has mostly been fixed.

    There's still that general delay baked into every action you execute in this game, but it's more of a design decision than anything else, stemming from the choice to tie abilities to animations. It's annoying but after playing the game for so long you get used to it.

    1.0 -> 2.0 didn't fix, so don't expect it to ever be fixed lol

    People are more quiet about it since they either learned to play with it (yay for casting while moving lawl), or quit...

    the thing that most annoyed me was playing a melee with positional requirements, pugilist/monk, and most of the time the game not registering right where my character truly was because of this delay.

    running around a moving mob and only being able to hit it when i was clearly ahead of it was really annoying, if this issues are not a problem anymore then i think i will sub for one more month to test it. =]

    Pretty sure they fixed the position problem. They changed the positional update from every .3 secs to every .1 sec. I used to have to turn all graphical settings down during Titan fights. Now I can play at max and still not get hit.
