I'm still only lvl 20, and so far I've had no trouble getting into the forced grouping dungeons the storyline has made me do. They were all completed in about an hour or less, too, so they weren't too bad. The duty finder seems to work well at least at this early stage.

If that 90% stat is true then I'll probably just keep going until I've hot no more other quests to do and move on.

I would like to point out that you're a tanking class and tanking classes get almost instant queues throughout all game content because there's a lot less people playing them compared to healers and DPS.

Tanks get the fastest queues, then healers, and DPS are stuck at the bottom of the barrel because of the fact that there's way way more DPS players in the game. DPS queues can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, unless they're queuing with a healer or tank.

As for Axiom's problem: you can buy crafted i70 weapons, armor, and accessories from the Market Boards in the three main City States. Those will help you boost your item level to reach the other content. Considering the highest iLvl for dungeon content in the game (aside from raids and primal fights) is i55, you should be fine. Also, myth grinding can go quick if you simply do roulettes and also join an active Free Company or LinkShell and group up with other players beforehand. Complaining about being forced to do dungeons or other party based content in an MMO is like complaining about water being wet.

Some other MMOs have dabbled with player-generated content, to various degrees of success. Coty of Heroes had a pretty amazing system for this. There were a lot of farming quests generated with it, sadly, but some awesome narrative focussed quests too. Sadly that game is no more. I believe Star Trek Online has something similar. It's a great way to extemd an MMOs conyent for people like myself who play for story, but it needs commitment from the devs to make it work.

I saw the totle and tbh, I though there's be a 'if u no like playing with other people why u choose MMO?' Response immediately.

As for 'impossible to cater for all', well if the objection is that hardcore raiders will get miffed at others getting gear 'easily', the question of why the hardcore do whst they do crops up. Is it for the gear or for the challenge?

The storyline imo should be completable by everyone. It's a story. I dont care what other people do as ling as it doesnt impact my game. I dont need uber gear, myself. If I could do some sort of 'e-z mode' dungeon which would not drop anything except msybe an acheivement which didnt give any stat buffs etc, I'd do that.

Frodo didn't defeat Sauron because he was decked out like a God, did he? Still an epic journey.

lol what would it be in game? Some sort of huge defense buff (making Frodo untargetable sace for AoEs, I'd assume?) but with a cumulative risk of getting teleported straight to the endgame boss? He was also lvl 1 when it dropped, so by rights shouldn't really have been able to equip it!

Dear Devs, please nerf The One Ring, or I quit my sub!

    Yours, Sauron.

    1) The majority player base has issues becasue the end level dungeons are to low of an ilvl requirement.

    2) at 45 and 50 you get your class quest + GC weapon, master ring(hunt log), that leaves only a belt, 1 ring, earing, neck and wrist that aren't given to you at i50 or higher. With the gil you make doing quest, guildhesit, crafting, doing levequest, fates, ect... you can very cheaply by i70 rings, in fact I would say you could probably farm up enough gil to buy the i70 accessories faster then going from 49-50. (this is assuming you somehow don't already have more then enough gil) Which would allow you to do every current actual dungeon in the game. without slowing your progression by more then a day.

    3) For low levels, as you leveling. you will gain an excess of gran company seals from fates, levequest, guildhiest, various other things, you can easily keep your characters ilvl decent buying the armor you can from there that benefit your class.

    4) Without dungeons just by choosing your rewards well from all the quest you do you can keep you character a high enough ilvl for the dungeons you have to do.

    5) Why can't you do a dungeon once? doing a dungeons once using DF or find a Free company(as there are tons that are for people just like you and don't want to df dungeons). Even just running each dungeon once you will keep you geared up and it's a huge chunk of xp/gil more then worth it.

I'm fine with doing a few dungeons, but the fact that I am now forced to do them over and over and over again until I get enough mythology to get some gear to boost my stats bugs me.
That is not fun for me at all. That tedious 'grind' I believe to be one of the biggest problems with MMO's at the moment and this game forces you to do it, it's not even a choice.

You want things to be handed to you. Spoon fed if you will. The bread and butter of ALL MMO's I to grind dungeons for gear. If you can't get with that, I'm pretty sure there's a few copies of LR:FFXIII out there for you.

Once upon a time, the bread and butter of car manufacturing and purchase was the Model T Ford. Thankfully, we've moved beyond that now.
