Linkshell Halls and improved abilities for Linkshell Leaders.

    Hello everyone,
I much enjoyed the idea of the Mog House from FFXI and thought it may have been brought over to FFXIV at it's launch. Although I love the retainer system (now that it has been improved), I would like to see something resembling a Mog House but not just for one's personal use.
I would like to see Linkshell Halls; an instanced area that a Linkshell Leader has control over decorating and or purchasing furniture and crafting facilities. It would be a place that a Linkshell could get together, hang out, and prepare for raids or other content.
As most are aware, there is no way to invite or banish players into or out of a Linkshell without being in proximity to that player. There are many cases of players losing interest and just quitting without the decency of retiring the Linkpearl first.
I support the devs fully, they've done a great job but somethings are a MUST-HAVE in order to keep a Linkshell running like a well-oiled machine. i.e: rank structures, party invites & tells from linkshell list and possibly the ability to see what area each linkshell member is currently in. Here are two good examples of an organized Linkshell.

I'd much rather the housing to not be instanced. There is a lot - A LOT - of spare space in the game to add buildings and houses to. The same goes for Guild housing. It would surely make the trips from Uldah to the Docks a more interesting experience... watching players go on their way, guild members lining up for a meeting, crafters at their houses, builders, people hanging out.

But yes, I support linkshell halls and kicking offline players.

Putting a different twist on it, and seeing as how they are opening up settlements outside of the city walls, I think it would also be a pretty cool idea to not only have linkshell halls inside the main cities but possibly outside too/instead. Not entirely sure how it would work but I quite like the idea ^^ Maybe linkshell "halls" inside the cities and some kind of more personal abode outside? Somewhere to raise our chocobos!

As for linkshell administration tools/controls, I have always supported this as a much needed function and am sad to see that this along with basic things such as loot distribution are still extremely low on the priority list

Perhaps linkshells could have domain in different sections of capital cities if they get extremely rich. Or even better, add Linkshell-owned settlements! A Linkshell Hall/Castle surrounded by player/linkshell villiages! Players could pay rent and start shoppes down the road. Guild settlements could tax shopkeepers by adding in a Shop tithe.

That is a biggy! I'm glad I have a linkshell that I can trust. But I don't know how many times I've played other games that had loot drop randomly in another players inventory and they just Ninja'd the gear. I think being able to set up a loot-master would be a GREAT idea for the upcoming raid content.
