sadly though this has nothing to do with rmt, you use to be able to add offline friends to your list. rmt hasn't slowed cuz of it an they know it. its all about money, buy their 3rd retainer so you cant create bank alts this also saves them money on server space. for all the many many alts. unless of course you create your own fc and use your fc bank to do it.

Seriously? I get the non friend thing but in XI for YEARS now im able to mail my alts. this is a game made by the same company.. Hell not only can I -mail- my alts, im allowed to send them rare/ex gear and items that it only lets me send when i put in my alts name so it -knows- im sending it to my alt. For years this has been doable in XI.. its borderline stupid it's still not available here. I guess we should all split and make solo fc's so we can use the FC bank as a alt mail...

Has any reason ever been stated for why we can't add offline people to our friends lists? It seems like mail could still be used between alts and RMT'ers wouldn't be able to mail us if they simply made the friends list more flexible in who can be added to it. I've actually missed the chance to add a couple of cool people because they had to go before I thought to add them. It seems kinda silly that I was able to add them 2 minutes before but because something urgent came up for them in real life I can't add them to my friends list in game...

Well then, eagerly waiting for another glitch to be discovered to add same-account characters to the friends list.

Why not just add a special delivery service that you have to pay for... like they have in Aeon.

You would pay to have a moogle deliver directly to recipient wherever they are in the world! How cool would it be if a moogle just shows up "Special delivery Kupo!" especially if you weren't expecting it.

Just shows how little you care about your customers, and how much you care for paid retainers.
This is a simple fix that's being ignored because you get to charge people in a subscription game for basic services now
