    Well the could add a charge fee when they mail stuff to you, each time they spam you get 100gil will add up over time lol

    Because it would be too difficult to determine whether a character was tied to the same user account as the one you're playing? I have more faith in the power of the developers than that.

    On the other hand, RMT does own shout in the cities. So perhaps things I think should be relatively simple are indeed more complex than they appear. Or perhaps SE developers are not as sharp as I think they are.
