Unless it's constantly overflowing, the FC chest could take care of both these problems.

never got mail from rmt in any other game and that includes ff11 which was overrun with rmt when I started playing it. not a good reason for restricting the actual players.

It's actually a pretty good system. The only thing missing in my opinion is the ability to receive mail from FC and LS members without needing to add them as a friend first.

I am curious that were there people really need to buy gils??
I think the game has a good design that gils is not really important for you when you don't know how to make it...^^;

I'd never buy at risk of having my account banned, but I'm lvl 41 and sitting on only about 27k.

On topic: I'd like to be able to mail to my other toons on the same server. Don't see a down side to this.

They could just put a limit on how many posts a player can send in a hour/day.
Heavily restrict it to level 10, moderately at 25, and generously at 50.

I'll just continue to use Free Company chest then ^^
