In Game Mailing System

Anybody else find an annoyance with the in game mailing system. The fact that I have to be a friend with a player to send them in game mail is just annoying to be honest. Never had a MMORPG with that system. Hope that I am not the only seeing the huge flaw with this system.

People already complain about RMT /tells, do you want them to send you mail too?

no it's not a flaw this is the only thing keeping me from getting spammed by rmts

But contacted nonRMTs on a regular basis is extremely rough. They need a fix for RMTs period that isn't the issue here the issue is contacting members.

it can be hard but it wouldn't hurt if ur going to be contacting frequently to add him/her as friend... .

The only real "Fix" would be for people to stop buying Gil from them. If they see there's no business here they wouldn't bother staying. But in every MMO people are still stupid enough to buy gil/gold/whatever it's called in other MMOs.

I am curious that were there people really need to buy gils??
I think the game has a good design that gils is not really important for you when you don't know how to make it...^^;

People feel the need to buy gil for Mercs, i70 or i90 crafted gear, guild housing. It'd be different if people actually worked for their money (a vast majority do I'm sure) however there's always those "Gimme gimme right now" people

I'd gladly put up with it if it meant I could finally send stuff to my own dang alts.

I just wish they would consider our own alternative characters already friends so we can mail our own characters.
Annoys me they make a big deal about pay more to have up to eight characters but then they can't even mail each other
