In Game Mailing System

I am curious that were there people really need to buy gils??
I think the game has a good design that gils is not really important for you when you don't know how to make it...^^;

I'd never buy at risk of having my account banned, but I'm lvl 41 and sitting on only about 27k.

On topic: I'd like to be able to mail to my other toons on the same server. Don't see a down side to this.

I just wish they would consider our own alternative characters already friends so we can mail our own characters.
Annoys me they make a big deal about pay more to have up to eight characters but then they can't even mail each other

Given the amount of spam, I'm grateful that people I don't have as friends can't mail me, except for two cases:

(1) People in my Free Company
(2) People on my account (wait, that's ME!)

I don't allow RMT accounts into my FC, and I do not allow RMT accounts onto my own account. I see no reason to be protected from these two cases.

This has been my opinion since launch. There is no reason I should have to friend everyone in my FC to mail them. We are a cooperative group and that should include mail.

Unless it's constantly overflowing, the FC chest could take care of both these problems.

Hopefully they keep the system the way it is now. I do not want to log on and find 100 mails(or whatever the max is) from RMTs.

At some point I'd stop bothering to check and any real mails would likely go unnoticed; that or no one would be able to mail me since 99% of the time my mailbox would probably be maxed out by RMTs.

Not the best mailing system ever, but it's not really something that needs to be changed. Only thing I hate is the character limit.

I think it's like this so you have to add RMT for them to mail gil to you.

no thanks, enough RMT spam as it is. I would like a better search function, rather than a drop down box window.
