    Notorious Monster please.

People say why? People say no because they don't want to camp against other people, they don't want to wait hours to watch someone else claim the mob.

Screw that, have you never played an mmorpg? Notorious Monsters are one of the best parts of the game. Getting a rare piece to call it your own. Screw 100% drop. People want everything handed to them, bbut complain everything's too easy. What's the point of a relic if it gets handed to you. NMs adds content, and collectable mounts, items, and gear. Dungeon NMS and mounts, that'd be sexy like fight the dragon in brayflox and get a mount. All I'm saying I want rare items that are hard to get

So basically, you want rare everything for the sake of saying that you got lucky when you got it.

No not at all. Notorious Monsters is like a mini game for mmorpgs. You can do it on your free time, while your waiting for a queue, collecting rare gear, mounts and items or even obtaining free soloing gear. It is very compelling in mmorpgs and addictive. I do not find fates satisfying at all in these terms if you want to compare the two. Like hunting NMs in ffxi, it made your heart beat fast and when you got claim you hurrayed and then the item drops you just do a jig in your seat and on knms or hnms like king behemoth dropping defending ring you just outright scream for joy. I think they should add NMS

As long as the drops are unique/untradeable and never better than anything that drops from a raid, I'm sure most people wouldn't have a problem with it. Except the people advocating for the system so they have something to brag about.

I mean they could have monsters that could take 16 people to kill. Call them H NMS and have them drop uber stuff.

Make NMS where it takes a party or an alliance to kill. I'm sorry but I am someone who likes hunting rare things. If anyone has played ffxi they understand how thrilling and addictive hunting NMs was. They can have them drop chests which each member gets their own loot. Or have items drop into the inventory.

Considering that FF14 is aimed at the casual crowd, I don't think there would be many people going for the idea of camping until a rare monster pops up.

This is somewhat false. Even the developers are calling FFXIV for the 'hardcore'

I don't see how we can have a 'hardcore' game without NM's.

They wanted to capture both aspects. But all I'm saying is this game needs NMs
