You actually kill the adds in the 2nd boss? Wow. Everyone I know just burns the boss past them. What are you guys/gals talking about? Brayflox is like watching tv sometimes and you're just grabbing your popcorn. I love the time I was on my DRG and after the 2nd boss was downed the BLM smarted off to me saying "thanks for your help on the adds.. Which was none" when I nicely stated that his ranged DPS easily handled adds while my melee stayed near the boss and didn't walk through aoe to get them thus giving our healer more time to focus on one less player. Needless to say, I got a prompt "w/e" and that was that. I got a commends after the dungeon I'm sure was from the healer.
Let 'em be angry people. Don't let it bother you. Move on and continue to be a decent person spite them all.
I like to burn everything.
But really, some people don't consider ignoring them, or they, too, just want to kill everything. If the extra time it takes is a big issue, which it is for those who have the need to speed run everything, it should be made clear what the intended strategy is. It takes all of 2 seconds to type "ignore adds" to get everyone on the same page. Y'know, rather than just assume everyone does it the same way. If no one says anything, I'll go about doing things as I see fit to, which may involve taking out adds.
In order for vote kick to pass in a four person party, only one player must click yes for the vote kick to pass.
I would like to point out the irony in what the tank did. By vote kicking you for slowing the party down effectively stopped their progression all together until a replacement is found. A good way to anger at least one of the remaining two. Perhaps the tank got vote kicked themselves after you left. Or more likely everyone ended up just abandoning the duty.
There's nothing you can do, but take comfort in the fact that your not the only person to suffer to the irrational behavior this tank possesses. Acting impulsively without considering the consequences to themselves or others, it's good way to earn a bad reputation. These types of players are always their own worst enemy.

Anyone that uses the Duty finder and expects a speed run is an idiot.
I've been doing this since WP.
It has made me more seals and gil than I can count. Even the "useless" x-potion/ether ones make me gil. I'm selling them because I have 20+ of them anyway.
How hard is it to just make sure your healer is in the damn room before pulling the boss?
We really need a separation section of the forums where people can vent about their experiences, because it seems this kind of person is incapable of just reporting and moving on. Vote kick gets abused, it happens, and although you might think yours is a special case that the entire community will just DIE if they don't hear about. It isn't.
I don't see why we need these rants clogging up the main page all of the time.
Best way to fix it would be if every opened chest give a tome bonus after defeating the next boss.
Something like during 1.0, where opening all chests was a condition to get one of the possible 5 chests after defeating the endboss.
