Novus Weapons and Alexanderites, 2.28-2.3

Hi Community!

So with the added information on Novus weapons requiring Alexanderites to be upgraded, how will this work with patch 2.28? The monster hunt system looks incredibly fun, but it looks like it will be implemented in 2.3. Did they announce any other ways to obtain Alexanderites?

Also, I'm not sure but have they announced the ilvl for novus yet?

They pushed back the next part of the relic quest to 2.3 so it'll likely be introduced then, along with the items required for it.

When I head the word Alexanderites like many people the first things that popped into my head was mythics from FFXI. If you don't know this was the hugest gindiest of all grinds in FFXI. I hope this new quest with Alexanderites isn't anything like FFXI's mythics.

The letter notes specifically said Novus begins in 2.28.

Like many here, I'm hoping they add alex to some stuff in 2.28, maybe maps or dungeons or something. No point adding the next part of the quest if you can't work on it till a few weeks later.

And the level beyond Novus is for stat customization, not iLVL increases.
