Got question about PS3 & PS4 Collector's Edition

I can't fine any info about this so I figure I ask. I own Final Fantasy XIV Collector's Edition for PS3.

I plan on buy game also for PS4 because read some people are having issues with whole free upgrade I rather not deal with it. If you know what I mean. Anyways.

Once I get PS4 vision and link up license to my account. I was wondering character I have on PS3 & Collector's Edition items can they be used as well on PS4, I don't mind making new character just wondering more about items since you do get them in-game by moogle mall. Just wonder well they be sent on PS4 too when I log-on or would I have to buy Collector's Edition again to get items.

I initially started with the PS3 Collector's addition then transfered to the PS4 when it became available. I had no problems downloading the game to the PS4 and transferring my account from the PS3 to the PS4 went without a hitch. The one thing you need to keep in mind is when you make the transfer to PS4 you can no longer use that account on the PS3. There is no need to purchase the game for PS4 as the download is free through PSN. just follow the instructions posted in the Lodestone and you should have no problems. Hope this helps.

Added note: Everything that you received from the PS3 collector's Edition transfers to the PS4.

Short answer same game same account same character different platforms. Just remember on your ps3 hit saved data tranfer to PS4 for your hotbars and stuff.

Rizon; Main reason I don't want do free upgrade beside reading issues people have gotten I don't own PS4, I rather just buy game wait before getting PS4 because Sony has habit making better updated system later on. Pointless do free upgrade only to never get play it you know.
