for the last week or so i've been getting some really bad lag, ingame my sending always says anywhere around 200-800 and my receiving is anywhere from 800-3000

now i dont have a clue what that means why square couldnt put a simple ping/latency number is beyond me

i know its not my frames, i keep an eye on my frames and i get 80+ when anywhere in the game and 50+ when in crowded areas like mor dhona

i've pinged the server i play on (excalibur) and the results come back around 40ms ping all across the board but ingame its certainly not. i also tried playing on ultros and same problem.

like i said its only been doing this for about a week now and is getting extremely annoying since i plan to livestream this game but cant due to lag. just wondering if anyone knows a fix to this, and i tried pingzapper it doesnt work. i know its not my internet cause i did a speedtest to montreal which is where the servers are at and its fine http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3508684385

Just a thought, but try a pathping to the server. I don't know the ip address for your server but just open a cmd prompt and type in pathping ipaddress. It will give you the latency for each hop of the trip to the server and if there is any loss at any of the hops. If you have a good latency and no loss in any of the hops it's something with the client server and maybe customer support can help you at that point.

i can play/stream other games just fine like warthunder but FF14 lags even when iam not streaming. only been going on for about a week

Well I'm by no means an expert. But you have 47% loss at hop 14 which looks to be an internal hop for the game server. That loss is going to cause the issues you're having with latency. I'm fairly new to this game so I don't know where you'd want to send in a ticket, but a ticket with those results should be sent into square-enix.
