Here's a tip I just learned dealing with your connection on ps4...

Don't use wifi for this game if at all possible run your cat5. Wow what a world of a difference it made for me after playing with lag for a month. I finally went and bought a cord, and it was well worth it. So if ur playing on a ps4 at least... Run wire.

This is true for computers as well. Wired connections are better for MMO type games where you are playing always connected to a server.

I play on PS4 using wifi and have lagged only when doing the Behemoth or Odin FATEs, and even then it wasnt bad. Other then that, it runs extremely well.

I thnk this is a good general practice when it comes to the PS4.
Less latency when playing online and the download speeds tend to be quicker.

I also use a wired connection and I don't have any problems but if I try to use wi fi it's hell on earth that does not happen when I use my PC but with the ps4 it looks that only wired connection works but that's just me.
