[OT] One of 'those' days.

There I was, gathering away when I lost connection to the server.
Almost came to the forums, but paused; House was quiet.
No fan noise from the fridge. No slight hum of electricity just silence.
I tried light switch; nada.
I was in a power cut. Wonderful! Rang the power company and got a recorded message; Not in their area, please use the no. on my bill. Where do they think I got the no. from? Thin air? Used the one from the phone book; Got a recorded message saying they were aware of the issue. Hung up & power came back on; typical!
Back to FFXIV.
Half way to loading back in; power-cut, again.
Almost started cursing.
Sat there and thought, ok now what? Forums are out for the same reason as the game.
Looked outside. Lovely warm sunshiny day.

Just got a garden chair out & clean and it rained. Not much, just enough make you damp, but still. Came back in. Power came back on. Swear someone must be watching me.
I waited a few minutes as I figured we might get another power cut. An hour later and we still had power. Ok, let's try again.
Was in for matter of minutes & we got a power cut. Again! Am I paranoid? Is someone watching me?
I got myself a drink then went outside as it looked like a nice day again. Promptly slipped on wet slab and dropped the "£$!ing glass. Just slipped right through my hand.
Breath in, hold it, breath out. Repeat.
So, the power is obviously back now or this wouldn't be posted. I haven't gone postal, yet.
Point of post; Anyone else having 'one of those days'?

Had to replace my box (router modem) recently. I hate calling Comcast and going slowly thru all the steps when I know it's the box. Weeks worth of calling and waiting and tech advice with no gaming. Reason I rent a box instead of buy one out right is they burn up quick. On the brighter note the tech showed me how to hook up wireless to my PS3. Same time I end up with another illness. Me and my PS3 sitting together in the dark all broken. I'm starting to feel like Dr. Who with the Tardis. Oh well, fixed now. Cept for me which goes under the blade this summer when the doctors get around to it.

Oh and ignore the anti-posts. Some people have already become Cybermen. Forgive them, they can't comprehend human emotion. To get around double posting and the word limit just edit your post. Or post on these forums which don't have ridiculous rules: ffxivrealm.com
