except you've made it blatantly clear that playing the game has nothing to do with it. You want SQEX to tell you every piece of gear that drops before you play the game and find it out yourself. The laziness was in reference to you wanting to be spoonfed the info instead of doing it yourself. Kind hard to miss that obvious point.

I'd rather play through it couple times and see what drops myself, then once I'm tired of doing it over and over i'll check it out... although I got a wife who sits right next to me going Rein!!! (in real name) I WANT THIS!!! points to the gear in the data-mine website.... and I go orz

So basically all games you play you only play if the rewards are good and not even trying them out and seeing for yourself? You'd rather see endings of the game first then go, oh that looks good now let me try it?

Please. For the love of which ever god out there... Do not start putting out details about drops that are comming. Not in 1.18 nor in any other patch. It completely destroys the element of surprise and always starts a rush towards specific items. Let the players figure this stuff out over time and let the mystique and excitement of "unknowns" live for as long as possible.

Just say NO to easy mode.

absolutely not. there's a certain surprise and anticipation that must be maintained with content.

It's fun figuring some of that stuff out. Like when the mid-level NMs were released I remember people from various linkshells reporting their findings that night. That was cool.

I find it interesting that you're getting so much negative feedback on this though. When these days many people are on lodestone & the various forums seeking more info before it happens. A lot of time is spent on that. Basically spoiling most of the sense of surprise for later. Why not take it further?

But apparently you've found the line where people say "Whoah, now that's a little too much spoiling of the surprise!" That's interesting.
