As well as certain tasks, such as provisional requests from Grand Companies, all I am asking for is a better chance to not only help friends out, but also a little help keeping up with the increase of gil accumulation that we all would like to see. Gathering and crafting untradables were put in place so you have to earn your way into the big leagues (3 Star), and not just buy your way there/get carried.

While you can buy your way to that point, there has to be a gate at some point where you have to earn it yourself.

You can add more than 1000 characters to a post by editing your post. Just write your big wall of text, cut until it fits, then edit it back in...

Sorry for off topic, would it be considered as an exploit by editiing the post to bypss the 1000char limit? ^^;

Thanks for your opinion. I asked this because, I have seen some posts keep saying xxx is an exploit yyy is an expliot (for example T2 enraged )
I am very curious, editing the post to bypass 1000char maybe is an reportable exploit base on the same concept? ^^;

How about allowing the trade of these items between friends and FC members ONLY....

Regarding above suggestion. It may result ppl shouting to sell or a PF is up for selling such item.
Also it may cause ppl farming those item for sell. So I think that's the reason that they are not tradable. ^^;

Well...it's sort of silly that you can straight buy levels with crafting + gathering classes (see: provisioning leves and GC supply quests). So I guess they should curb it at SOME point.

Frankly, I'd much rather see that ANY quest / level / GC turn in would be limite to items gathered / crafted by the player turning it in. Those could be stil tradeable for other purpose but simply not use for progrssing throug the game like now.
