The connection problems are being addressed I have looked this up, the last two days have been bad, specially last night, it has nothing to do with mine or other's internet issues or ISP issues. Whoever is doing these attacks needs to be locked away forever. I wonder if Blizzard is up to it. Imagine if they fake an attack on themselves then attack FF14 who is their biggest MMO competitor to try to get people upset and go back to WoW especially with their new Xpac out. Just playing devils advocate.

I personally wouldn't be surprised if the "reason" was trying to light a fire under SE's asses to move the EU data center to Europe like they had mentioned a few weeks back, or just is simply being done to irritate the player base with added lag during the initial weeks of the new patch. Regardless, I can't wait to see the EU data center moved simply for the traffic through to Montreal to be eased up, most likely won't be anything amazing but any amount of improvement is welcome, esp when you're a country (or ocean) away from the data center you're playing on.
And... DDoS strikes again... This is beyond silly. What the heck do the hackers hope to gain by this?
I'm just selfish, I want to play. Yet, I keep getting error 9000 w/in 5 min of logging in, followed by lovely 1014. Currently, for me, the game is unplayable. Which sucks, since I know for a fact that I have no connectivity issues on my end.

this is not gold spammers as you cannot sell to players who cannot get into the game and see the spam.
this needs to be addressed before it kills the game. i don't want to be forced to go back to world of copy and paste.

I am playing on Ps4 and for 5 days I have kept getting issues with logging in. I can usually get past the password login, but when I select Start, just before character selection I get kicked out with usually the (5006) error.
Sometimes I can't get past the password login before I get 2002 error and this will usually go on for over 1 hour of constant tries to login. Also I will get to my character selection and think all is ok and then get kicked offline with same errors.
I have also been in the middle of doing a fate or dungeon like Titan and get disconnected randomly. In this situation I can usually get back in only to find my character dead or sometimes even a complete loss of 1 whole level of exp.
It is making me upset. As this is subscription and no one who is having this issue is being given any amount of day free for it. We are paying money for this not to occur and to play. I am on EU servers playing in Phoenix world and this only is happening to NA/EU not the Japanese servers as I was told in game.
For a subscription service where your paying to play when you want and with me losing half a day of play due to this issue, there should be compensation. The day's effected should be re-added to our account. I played heaps of MMORPG's and even World of Warcraft added days back to issues that maintenance teams are meant to be fixing. I would be happy with 24 hour maintence to fix this than 5 days of wasted money. Yet still this isn't getting sorted out, this DDoS stuff.
Just a side note. I have seen comments from People saying to block the region from where it is occurring, but I am in Australia, I don't agree with blocking Audtralia from playing due to those who could be at fault. If it is Americans doing it, does that mean all Americans should be blocked from playing.
The above statement was from the bug section. I just feel something should be acted upon and fast. Plus some type of compensation for us for the amount of days we cannot get any real decent gaming in. I have been kicked offline on some days close to every 2 minutes I get back online. This can sometimes go on for up to an hour or more and thus is making me think secondly sbout my subscription which I Jude spent a heap on time cards for the future.
