HUGE CONNECTION PROBLEM

Please fix it for Patch 2.41, there is a severe connection issue from Gungnir (JP legacy server) to Australia, my connection is fine and I never have any problem with it.

Since 2.4 was implemented, ALL (not some) quest content is slow and laggy: FATEs, dungeons, raids, Main Story Quests and it is making levelling Ninja a real hassle because Mudra's connect <50% of the time because of these spikes to the point where I am actually able to execute a Fuma Shuriken AND a Raiton in the same Ninjutsu... but that doesn't override the fact that as a WHM these continual lag spikes mean players on my server don't want me in their party because I am unaware I need to heal them due to this latency.

It is making the game very unenjoyable because this issue is making casual players have to find a workaround to debug SE's development. All I can seem to do without running into a latency spike is Syrcus Tower (since it's a guaranteed win) or Atma books for a relic weapon that is that far behind because the game's latency issues have not been improved since 2.0 and has gotten worse since 2.4. It is the same case from everyone playing in Australia. STOP EXCLUDING US!

Aaand again. Not just remote connections, either. Watched everything in an instance freeze for a good 20 seconds. If it had been just players lagging and not the server, we'd have been killed in the interim.

I posted this in the other thread but yah, I'm in Syrcus Tower, entire alliance is red-dotting and 90k'ing, having blips of 10-15 seconds of stalled/stopped gameplay lag (everything stops moving, etc)... I myself was just booted as well. trying to log back in, 66 players in queue lol... so i guess its not too isolated.

I second this thread coming back to life! I get kicked way too often, sometimes I can't even connect to the database and then the game closes and I have to re-enter another one-time password...lame. Hope you can fix it soon square! =D

If someone of SE employees is watching this - I'm so tired of your problems.. I want my money back.. And I want good old Squaresoft back, which was always equal OUTSTANDING quality.

Leviathan. 90k from halitali hm. Went through this yesterday, thought they fixed it. Ya know, i read the comments. They said "We are monitoring the network traffic.......". What the hell good does that do? Your servers cant handle the load? Upgrade them! You have a good game SE, people want to play it. More and more come everyday. I have played WoW and Eve online, i cant say that i have exp this with those to this level. Maybe its time to stop patching the software for a bit and start accomodating higher loads on your hardware. 5000 ppl per world at one time is clearly not enough, and even then, the lobby servers you route through cant even handle the traffic volume. You must do something, id just as soon go back to eve! Ive been logged on with 30000 ppl at one time there. AT ONE TIME. 30000. It can be done.

Gilgamesh. I had a 90k earlier as I went to grab my weekly hunt mark from the board, followed by the lobby error. After sever failed attempts to get into the game again I waited for a while (about 20 min). Which finally let me get back into the game, it promptly booted me with another 90k followed by lobby error in 5 minutes. This is starting to get annoying especially after the bout of lag/90k's this last weekend.

wow seriously? Do you have nothing better to do with your life than complain. Seriously? You try being a network engineer and fix this issue. It isn't something to be simply solved with a flick of a switch. All MMO's suffer from this problem. Even W.O.W has this problem from time to time. Be patient and wait for the servers to be back up.

Speaking of which. WoW just released Warlords of Draenor and they ran into massive log-on queues, server crashes, extremely crowded zones (because they figured that they're just going to send everyone to whatever major city it was designated as which caused huge lag with hundreds of people in the zone at a time) AND they got DDoS'd at the same time. Not a fun day to be a Blizzard employee, that's for sure.

I'm wondering if someone is taking a poke at the SE servers.
