Ifrit story was only difficult if only 1 person attacked the nail. It is now easier not because it got nerfed, but because people know now what to do.
Amdapor keep was nerfed twice too lol.
Level 35, once you've unlocked the Sunken Temple of Qarn.
lvl 50.
Even the producer admitted the "game" does not start till "endgame".
It becomes fun after installation, but "fun" is subjective, so that would ultimately be for you to decide.
Although, if you don't like the game now, you probably won't like it later either.
This game doesn't get good. It is good.
You're probably not going to like it if you didn't like it so far.
Story in the beginning is slow, but picks up on pace after level 15. The low level duties are challenging from around level 32 on, if you confront it with people who are undergeared or still learning how to play their jobs. The endgame presents you with more unusual mechanics in fights, and a lot of things you can opt to grind on. You will prefer to become part of a LS or FC for endgame content, which is where a sense of community comes in. Playing through the story for the first time is more like a solo game.
But basically, if at over level 40, you're not motivated to get to the endgame, looking around for an LS or FC for people to socialize with, not enjoying the story or graphics or sound or overall feel of gameplay, then this game might not be down your alley.
There are a lot lf good points being made here.
But another one is - did you come into the game expecting a one-player game with a lot of other one-player people? Because if so, you haven't even started playing the game yet. IMHO, make sure, as someone else mentioned, you get a good free company and a linkshell or two (I have 6 active right now myself), and interact more and make a group of friends or people you can do a lot of game play with. Learn stuff, make mistakes and learn to laugh about it, hear heroic and horror stories. It's a massive game right now from where you are - immerse yourself in it. That's what Final Fantasy to me has always been about.
I'm still waiting. It's eating up my time. So I guess that's what counts.
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
