    SUGGESTION:Gambits for pets?

Wouldn't it be much easier it we had a gambit system for pets
any ff12 player will remember gambits i honestly feel this would be a fantastic addition to pets.

You could set the gambits your way and have pets not act so stupid
    Any thoughts on this idea?

If anyone is wondering (Since OP didn't explain), Gambits are just programmable actions, that when combined together dictate 'NPC' behavoir.

Personally, as a Summoner, I don't think I need such mechanics to help me along and feel like a baby. I can see this working for those god awful Chocobos maybe. heck, make being rank 10 a requirement, and I'd actually give a crap about leveling the feathery chicken brain.

This was how the companion system was supposed to be, but changed for some reason

I personally dont like the idea.

Just like with any classes, the micro management is the separator when it comes to skill.

If it's like FF12, that system had a great deal of flexibility for incorporating all the micro-management skill you want. It just moved when that micro-management could be done. It let you control one character during the fight, and other characters in advance. It'd be very well-suited to a character+pet combination.

As an added bonus, it incorporates a lot more strategic planning than the current system, which would make it fit in very well with the ACN story/lore.
