+1I'll add one more self pity note... When other party members start talking trash about the healer a good healer can't talk trash back because he/she has to KEEP HEALING. It's so demoralizing during a Titan fight when the dead DPS and the "just stand there" tank start talking trash to the healers and I can't take time to type "Hey the Dead DPS is wearing low level equipment and I've already rezzed them twice!" because I'm TRYING TO KEEP EVERYONE ELSE ALIVE.
So irritating that our healing take priority over typing. Some of those people don't even have SCH or WHM leveled.
I think as lots of myth tomes are needed for the animus upgrades, people are doing more high and low level and story mode roulettes than they were doing before, so queue times have gone lower. Before 2.2 people spent much more time in CT than now (getting tomes while hoping for the weekly drop until it came), now queues in CT are much longer than they were.definitely noticed this over the last month or so, ques started to disappear as soon as everyone decided to spam brayflox, theres no point joining pf groups for brayflox anymore i can do 10 df runs in a few hse say they don't do stealth updates but i think somethings been changed in the way df finds people
Before 2.2 capping the 450 myth tomes was harder than it is now capping the 450 soldiery tomes. People have more time to farm myth tomes they need, doing the roulettes is one of the ways.
Brayflox HM is a good place to farm tomes (soldiery + myth) so it's normal there are less queues there too. I do DF normally, only if I want to do 2 bosses I go to Party Finder.
At least for me, it's harder to obtain the myth tomes for the animus books than fulfilling the tasks needed, so it really makes more sense to concentrate on myth farming (daily roulettes are very practical for this) while bit by bit doing the tasks of the book, than finishing the book ASAP and then having to farm several days for the next one. But you get an upgrade for finishing the book,....we all want upgrades ASAP, lol.
Also: many people may have finally obtained their atmas and started to farm myth tomes intensely. The first several weeks of 2.2 most people didn't have their atmas yet, even those who had started to look for them from the first day.

Lack of healers is commonplace in a lot of MMO's as people just don't want to play as them, because they may seem "boring" I personally love playing as a healer, not saying I am the best, but I sure do give it ago. Able to help my LS/FC do runs through Brayflox HM and Lost City with no problems what so ever, so I suppose I am doing something right. I think that is the other thing, FC's and LS's that find a healer they like, tend to keep hold of them. I have been playing with the same group of people since 2007 in XI so we are pretty tight. We have a solid 4 man group. So I very rarely need to use the DF to find a party, as we arrange tome farmings between us.
But yeah healers (and tanks) are far and wide apart. And to find one that is willing to not only help do speed runs the way people want to speed runs is even harder, I'd rather have a laid back run and spend an extra 10-15mins doing it the casual way. I play this game to relax, not to get stressed out.

i do the same thing every time and i might just be imagining it but the gliders always hit me and tank and never the dps when i do this, less people to heal and the majority of the time the HoT covers the random hits
>stoneskin and e4e before pull
>start re-casting stoneskin as the tank aggro's the final pack, re-applies as it wears off
>divine seal medica2
>regen tank
>regen yourself
>cure or holyspam depending if tank used any cd's
>as long as dps are on point may as well save SoS until they're almost dead, so you'll get more mp back when nothing is on your hate list

I try not to run DR unless I have to. I feel like healers often get treated badly and people seem to think they know how to play your job better than you do.
Hi, my main is PLD, but I also play WHM and BLM. In DF or DR you may find the wrong people of any job. Most people are nice. Tanks, and in second place healers are blamed many times, sometimes unfairly, that's life. Most people don't blame, just look for a solution, which is best. Communication is very important.
But it's not that strange to have somebody (usually a healer) say "DPS is too low", after a wipe. Sometimes it's that, sometimes not. Being a tank I have seen mobs die quickly and when there are problems, the healer say: "DPS is too low".
Tanks and healers who quit for no justified reason and leave the group to wait for a new one are a big problem, finding a DPS is not usually that hard, a new tank or healer may be hard.

I just finished leveling cnj to 50 through mostly DR/DF and was only treated badly a handful of times. My major issue was how bad players can make healing impossible no matter what you do. I ran into so many people who didn't talk, listen or stop being stupid when it caused major issues. I guess that's a different kind of being treated badly though.
Healer was my last role to 50. I leveled tank, ranged, melee and then healer. I had no idea how much harder healing can be in randoms compared to all the other roles.
