Actually never had any PuG blame me for whiping or if someone dies. Most of the time the tank goes "Sorry [Explanation]", or the DD knew he stood at the wrong place.
And the few time it is my fault I just announce it in chat "Sorry, my bad." and they usually answer with "np".
Then again, the amount I PuG might as well be way less than you or other people as well.
been doing this strat with iLvL 80 WHM and having bad luck with gobs random attacks I will die with HP < 4000 if there are no regen effects on me and i only use group heals.

i do the same thing every time and i might just be imagining it but the gliders always hit me and tank and never the dps when i do this, less people to heal and the majority of the time the HoT covers the random hits
>stoneskin and e4e before pull
>start re-casting stoneskin as the tank aggro's the final pack, re-applies as it wears off
>divine seal medica2
>regen tank
>regen yourself
>cure or holyspam depending if tank used any cd's
>as long as dps are on point may as well save SoS until they're almost dead, so you'll get more mp back when nothing is on your hate list

Lack of healers is commonplace in a lot of MMO's as people just don't want to play as them, because they may seem "boring" I personally love playing as a healer, not saying I am the best, but I sure do give it ago. Able to help my LS/FC do runs through Brayflox HM and Lost City with no problems what so ever, so I suppose I am doing something right. I think that is the other thing, FC's and LS's that find a healer they like, tend to keep hold of them. I have been playing with the same group of people since 2007 in XI so we are pretty tight. We have a solid 4 man group. So I very rarely need to use the DF to find a party, as we arrange tome farmings between us.
But yeah healers (and tanks) are far and wide apart. And to find one that is willing to not only help do speed runs the way people want to speed runs is even harder, I'd rather have a laid back run and spend an extra 10-15mins doing it the casual way. I play this game to relax, not to get stressed out.

I try not to run DR unless I have to. I feel like healers often get treated badly and people seem to think they know how to play your job better than you do.
Hi, my main is PLD, but I also play WHM and BLM. In DF or DR you may find the wrong people of any job. Most people are nice. Tanks, and in second place healers are blamed many times, sometimes unfairly, that's life. Most people don't blame, just look for a solution, which is best. Communication is very important.
But it's not that strange to have somebody (usually a healer) say "DPS is too low", after a wipe. Sometimes it's that, sometimes not. Being a tank I have seen mobs die quickly and when there are problems, the healer say: "DPS is too low".
Tanks and healers who quit for no justified reason and leave the group to wait for a new one are a big problem, finding a DPS is not usually that hard, a new tank or healer may be hard.

I just finished leveling cnj to 50 through mostly DR/DF and was only treated badly a handful of times. My major issue was how bad players can make healing impossible no matter what you do. I ran into so many people who didn't talk, listen or stop being stupid when it caused major issues. I guess that's a different kind of being treated badly though.
Healer was my last role to 50. I leveled tank, ranged, melee and then healer. I had no idea how much harder healing can be in randoms compared to all the other roles.
