    Healers losing popularity?

As a tank, I'm finding it more and more common these days to wait for a healer and on my server, I see more tanks (mainly paladins) covering the popular areas than healers (behind all the bards of course). My tank ques don't feel nearly as fast anymore, as I feel like I'm always waiting for that healer or second healer in a FP group. And this all seemed to happen after either the 2.2 launch or the ps4 game launch (I can't tell you how many brand new gladiators I see than the deserted conjurer's guild)

Now on my scholar character, I have been getting nothing but instant ques these past few weeks. The "adventurer in need" on the roulette always seems to turn up on the healer now as well. Are the healers popularity falling below the tanks?

I've noticed this as well. I've been seeing healer in roulette (mainly trials and main scenario) a TON these days. I'm wondering if the new tank mounts are indeed working as SE intended...or people are finally getting fed up with how boring the healer job design is (speaking of WHM mostly).

As an i95 WHM, DF-ing has taken a definite turn for the worst the past few weeks with random groups attempting speed runs and then yelling at me for not keeping them all alive when the tank pulls the entire first brayflox level. Even if the DPS is a lancer and a monk! It's nerve racking to try and keep an i65 tank alive when they're "speed running" and very unrewarding when I get yelled at for running out of MP or people dying. I've pretty much stopped Que-ing in DF up on my WHM and just do party finder or not log in.

To be honest, posting on the forums is getting the same way. I'm sure someone's about to reply "U R i95 and people still die? LOL lrn to play newb you are obviously lying and you suck!" But I still post, and I'll still try the DF later just to maybe get some bonus tomes....

On the plus side, yeah the Queues do pop instantly lately.

This is definitely a reason I have not been healing as much. Tanks coming in in their crap gear to Brayflox hard thinking their hot shi* and taking damage like their armor was made of paper. Then getting an attitude and placing blame.

I went into Brayflox a week ago as part of the storyline. The tank kept pulling loads of mobs, keeping me busy with the healing to the point where I was running low on MP.
One of the other party members kept sending rude emotes my way with no explanation. We wipe several times and I finally had enough, so I left.
Because of the tank and the behavior of the rude dps, I'm not sure if I wish to continue as a healer. This is the first time I have had a problem keeping everyone alive.
Before this, I have received commendations from other party members for a job well done.

Most of the people are talking about the hard mode version of Brayflox, which is post-50. But the storyline version has its own difficulty - on the tank forums it is considered the "make-it or break-it" dungeon. A lot of tanks will just quit from trying to handle Brayflox storyline. The mobs are suddenly hitting a lot harder and the healer WILL have mp issues if the tank isn't careful or well-geared. Also, since it is just post-30, people will still be getting used to their job if they've even picked one up yet.
So, it's not you - it's that dungeon.

I am getting a lot of this. I've had a lot of groups yelling at me lately, and as a healer, it makes me want to play healer even less. The job can be stressful enough without being yelled at. >_< This is when I am either running for my duty roulette so I have to go in solo, or my friends are all busy or offline.

I'm a PLD, so I have CNJ at 30. I've been noticing that the "adventurer in need" for mornings, East Coast US time, is almost always healer. I'll usually put on my acolyte's skirt and go into the low-level roulette with "join party in progress" checked, and almost always what I find is a party with an inexperienced / bad tank. If I give them a little tanking guidance, they generally accept it and the run goes better from there out. So my theory is that beginning healers are having trouble with beginning tanks, and not knowing how to deal with that situation.
