I have a quest called "Help Me, Lord of the Dance'. I'm in Ul'dah, at the Coliseum. I know now to click the quest title and select 'map' to get a map of where to go. SO I do, and I get a map of...I think it's the 'Hustings Strip'. At the bottom left of the map, the Alchemist's Guild is marked, the north of that there's a big hall, the Scholar';s Walk, and then a bit further on, there's a big round chamber of some sort. The thing that's making me grind my teeth is that there's no label on this big round chamber, which has an 'aethernet shard' in it. It would be really handy for me to pick that to teleport to for this quest, but I can't because I don't know what it's called. There's nothing in my list of visited aethernet shards to indicate which one it is. And I know I've visited them all because I got a message telling me so.

Hasn't anyone suggested the devs labelling the actual aethernet shards on the map by the names they're listed in on the 'select shard' list when you activate them, rather than sometimes having the nearby places labelled and sometimes not?

It's maddening. Don't they play their own game? This sort of thing happens almost every session. I'm more or less constantly lost in FF

I wonder, are there mods for FF like there are in WoW? Maybe I can get some sort of improved Map/UI?
