    Ideas and changes (please add your own to the list if you have any)

    To start off these are Idea's and changes that I think should be put in place, you may disagree or may think differently which is fine add contribute many thanks.

    Private Job quests that influence certain abilities either by reducing recast times or increasing the potency of some abilities.
    I feel this would help us connect more with are class/role. they could do it to similar way to Tribe quests in you have to repeat the process over a long period of time to eventually get your reward.
    Linked into this I feel new abilities should be learned/ refined. +Dmg +radius of certain moves + potency of spells. etc

    After playing Final fantasy XI the world seems really small, I'm well aware that XI having many more expansions and time to grow. XIV seems so small. we just need more places to go to.
    Also "SHIPS" and certain locations that can't be taken teleported to. for example a 20minute trip. long enough for fisherman. If there are quests at the new location having access restricted you can help spread quests out.

    Notorious Monsters with Shared Drops with a % much like Atma there is only a chance you can get a drop from a Fate. we need Monsters that spawn to similar effect of XI but whoever attacks them has a chance. also they should not appear on the Radar make them hard to find. Make there drops Sellable to help motivate players to farm certain Monsters.

    DOL + DOH need to have some sort of Skill tree's and or a star of mastery system where (1 star = standard amount) (5 stars +20% HQ +5 Quantity) (10 stars +50% HQ +10 Quantity) each taking a great deal of time to acquire also referring back to the Skill trees make it so there are like 3 branches you can only choose to go all the way down one so you can only craft/gather certain things making some items rarer than others pending on who and what people pick. Spicing up these classes/jobs.

    Chocobo Adapting/ development- perhaps have more than one chocobo and the more you use it in a certain terrain will eventually change its colour but also give you a benefit. for example if you run around a lot in a wet area your chocobo turns light blue, if you run in a rocky hilly area turns red, if you jump a lot it perhaps develops bigger wings that let you glide a little further. All this could tie into a sort of mini game/ secret area limitless potential for example if you develop a red and a blue mix it can run up Waterfalls.

    A private Limit Break guage. we should each have a private Limit break gauge which takes (a long long long time to charge) somewhat of way to help you kill things or Dungeon that you may find difficult like Extreme modes. you can charge it all the way to 3 but to get it to 3 would take 1-2 weeks to charge.

    Varying terrain the terrain should effect us more running through water doesn't slow you down, running through sand is as easy as running on a road, running up a hill is as fast as running horizontally. this may seem like a small change but will add a sense of realism to it that may help the game reach the next level of realism.

    These are just a handful of my Ideas. please let me know some of your own. the more of use talk about these things the more likely we'll see the game we love turn an even better world which we can spend even more time in enjoying.

    Make dungeons available as "open world" areas.

    Once you have beaten, say, Sastasha, the pirates should logically all be dead, so why not let us explore it solo and without a time limit? Simply let us zone in, put some normal mobs in there, add some mining/fishing spots, plenty of opportunity to add even more quest hubs too. And you don't even have to work much on design since the areas are already there!

    I was curious if you are looking into any support for gaming keyboard that read stats and such like the G510 and the G13. I use both devices and think it would be nice to have a quick way to view the stats and changes. Thank you for the consideration.

    Monsters not being seen on radar takes away a certain element from the ranger/beastmaster in ffxi which in this game different job titles hold aspects of those jobs. Beastmaster or ranger not in this game without the radar isnt actually exciting. Monsters showing on radar for with these jobs brings to to life in some aspects. Thief although not released would also be brought more to life and fun with that capability. They hunt treasure and this leads to adventures that can lead to dungeons and monster encounters. I believe they should have saved the map decipher and dig for Thief because there are no locked treasure coffers that give Thief unique,fun and realistic feel...unless SE plans to later add locked coffers again. I guess when they add Thief it will just be A DPS that can steal..sounds boring..If I might add the idea for LV50 leves giving mythology and soildery oppose to 270 runs is perfect idea. Zoning into dun's already complete solo is also a great idea..I honestly love it.The opener of this post couldnt have said it better..This feels small compare to ffxi..opening dun's for zone in without time limits,with fish spots,locked coffers(Future for Thief) and variety lv of mobs will give us all a better gaming experience.

    Let ventures fight along side us..They should have done that system for chocobo for ventures..except let them lv up traditionally..

    Wow some amazing thoughts and ideas.
    Rufalus yeah Alternative Mythology methods would be ideal which links in with what Kawab said thief could be that alternative potentially.
    Zider, you have a good point just by opening up those areas they open up a lot of the game. they can put quest flags perhaps make a little story arc for each dungeon and by doing that make the game feel that little bit bigger. and even people repeating dungeons cant say anything cause in the story the pirates are dead so that's a legit idea.

    Gonquin,whatever makes the PC gamer life easier is always a good thing.
    Kawab, Yeah they melded that scanner into the radar sort of, who knows maybe thief will be the only job to find Notorious monsters and maybe they'll add Notorious monsters to dungeons and only if you have a thief in party will you be able to fight the extra boss. I'd like to see proper Coffers back as well. and totally adding those functions will bring a new element to the game and expand the game considerably but I fear its still not enough. yeah I think they should let us have 1 more venture free so we can use it for what you suggested last but whenever the venture is with you your stuff on sale should come off sale to make it reasonably fair.

    Thanks guys some really great ideas keep them coming I mean why give us the option to make the venture any class in the game if it doesn't actually effect the outcome of the venture makes very little sense so I hope to see something to these effects put in place.

    Lvl 1 limit break should take 5min to get
    Lvl 2 limit break should take 10min to get
    Lvl 3 limit break should take 15min to get
    Because the way this game is designed and how fast content can be completed no skill should have more than a 5min cd.
