Lightning Strikes (2014)

Basically, it's a set of four separate quests, started by reporter NPCs in each of the three cities. Each quest involves having to go out and find a specific FATE where Lightning will appear and will fight in the battle. Assuming your participation counted each time will gain you a special item which you take back to the NPC who gave you the quest for one piece of either Lightning's armour (for female characters), or Snow's armour (for men).

The first set of FATEs also drop a separate item which you have to trade to another NPC found in Limsa Lominsa who will give you a FFXIII/XIII-2/LR-XIII themed weapon. Note that the FATEs that drop this particular item can be done as many times as you want, allowing you to eventually get all the FFXIII weapons, one for each currently available class. That's it in a (kupo)nutshell.

I just started playing the game few weeks ago. Then this event arrived and I grinded like crazy to get to level 45 to get the last piece of Lightning's armor and it appears I gained my last level up 1 hour too late, the event had already ended...

Nothing to see here just a bit frustrated...
