An idea of bringing back an old one off job and giving it a more healthy ability list compared to what it had the past, most likely not a good idea but here is what I got so far:
Melee DPS, Primary stat STR, Mostly combo based, skills use MP instead of TP, primary gear stats: Piety, Strength,Accuracy
Weapon: Longsword, wielded in two hands.
Armor: scale mail, plate mail, and robes
Actions:
action MP cost raises similar to spell costs of caster classes.
Poison slash- applies poison to target, duration 10 seconds, poison potency 15,Slash potency:90, combos into venom slash. Cost: 15 mp 2.5 sec cooldown
Venom slash- applies str sapping poison, lower target str by 5% and raise user str by 5% duration 10 seconds, damage duration 15 seconds, poison potency 10, combo bonus: extends poison slash duration by 5 seconds.Slash potency: 100, Combos into Power Ruin or Magic ruin. Cost:17 mp 2.5 sec cooldown
Power ruin- magic sword attack that lowers defense and strength by 10%, Slash potency:100,
defense and strength debuff duration: 15 seconds, combo bonus: all current DoTs potency is increased by 20. cost 17 mp 2.5 sec cooldown
Magic ruin-magic sword attack that lowers magic defense and intelligence by 10%, Slash potency 100, magic def and int debuff duration 15 seconds, combo bonus: restore mp based on number of DoTs inflicted on target (caps at 9% mp restored every 5 seconds, 3% per DoT, duration 20 seconds) Cost 17 mp 2.5 sec cooldown
Aura pulse- AOE of unaspected damage, potency: 65, unaspected DoT, DoT duration 20 seconds,DoT potency:10 inflicts bind for 15 seconds to primary target, inflicts bind for 10 seconds to surrounding enemies. Cost 25 mp. 5 sec cooldown
Mind Ruin-magic sword attack that silences target, potency 90, silence duration: 3 seconds. Cost 25 mp. 25 sec cooldown.
Aspel sweep- magic sword attack that restores MP instantly based on damage, Potency: 70 Cost 15 mp. 30 sec cooldown
Mystic chant- extend all DoT durations by 12, 180 sec cooldown. Ally DoTs included.
Transfer- send 20% of max mp to an ally of your choice, 150 sec cooldown, cost varies.
Megaton swings- raise potency of attacks by 60 at the cost of DoTs for 15 seconds. 300 sec cooldown. All DoTs must be active to use. cancels all DoT effects on use.
Love and hate- take 30% enmity off an ally and direct it to yourself, 60 sec cooldown.
Charged strikes- auto attack potency raised by 15% while DoTs are active. Cannot refresh or add more DoTs while active, effect ends when DoT timers run out. 180 sec cooldown.
Aether channeling- Remove a random DoT from enemy target and place it on an ally, DoT becomes MP regen of half the potency of the original DoT, timer does not refresh on transfer. 120 sec cooldown must be a DoT you cast.
Hilt smash-strike the target with the hilt of your sword, Potency 50, stuns for 3 seconds. 5 sec cooldown.
Mana slash- consume 75% mp to unleash a crippling blow, Potency: 200, 300 sec cooldown. Places the exhausted status on user which lowers potency of all attacks and DoTs by 40% for 15 seconds.
Syphon Sword- sacrifice one DoT to cause auto attacks to heal at 15% of potency for 30 seconds. 90 sec cooldown

Enhanced Piety-Increase Piety by 2
Enhanced Venom slash-increase str drain to 10%
Enhanced Piety II-increase piety by 4
Enhanced Power ruin-increases Defense and strength debuff to 15%
Enhanced Piety III-increase piety by 6
Enhanced Magic ruin-increases Magic def and intelligence debuff to 15%
Enhanced Aura pulse-Increase potency of Dot by 10
Enhanced Aspel sweep-decrease MP cost by half
Enhanced Transfer-Amount of transferred MP increased to 30%
Enhanced Love and hate-Enmity absorb increased to 45%
Enhanced Charged strikes- auto attack potency boost increased to 25%
Enhanced Syphon sword-auto attacks heal at 20% of potency
