    Changing Servers?

    My friend finally got FF A realm reborn and I've been looking forward to play with him, however the servers on our list are different from each other. At the top of my server list it says Aether (Assuming thats the name of the west coast server) and his is Primal (Guessing thats the east coast)

    Is there any way I can switch to east coast or "Primal" so we can play together? I've been looking up how to do this for a good hour and have found nothing.

    It's not west/east coast servers. Aether & Primal are data centres which then have multiple servers within. They're divided into JP, NA & EU.

    On the main menu (iirc: under start) there's an option to switch between them ^^

    Though if you want to transfer character to join your friend you have to do so from the mogstation for a fee.

    Aether and Primal are the data center clusters, under those are several servers that are hooked together. On the start page there is a Data Center option you can click to change which cluster you wan to use then you can select a server.

    To transfer a character to another server is $18, you can do this on your Mog Station account page under optional services.
