This game has become unplayable

I never had a problem with lag until about 2 and a half weeks ago. It's been hell since then. Every instance lags, sometimes tremendosly. Spells get interrupted or don't land a lot of times, my off cgd abilities go into cooldown but don't actually activate, players and bosses freeze for seconds, sometimes up to 10. All I can do is craft and daily beast tribes because I'd be an hindrance to other players.

I have no idea if the problem is on my side, or SE's, but my internet provider/connection hasn't changed since I bought the game, it happened all of a sudden and it doesn't seem to go away. I love this game and I want to keep playing, but having to put up with all these things, it has become more of a nuisance than an entertainment lately, unless I do solo stuff. I can't go on like this for much longer.

Is there anything I can do on to try and make it better on my part?

Honestly, it is probably on your side, either your computer/Playstation or your internet. I play everyday and never have any issues with lag or freezing as you have described.

I was having the same problem starting a few weeks ago. A lot of people were saying it has to do with the trace routes from your ISP to the server. So internet connection can be fine, most other people on server are fine, but the route you are on is bad somewhere. Mine started all the sudden about a month ago and then was fine since a few days ago. I figured they must have fixed some problem along the route. Pretty sure that falls on your ISP though, even if the rest of your connection is fine.

Servers don't appear to be down. I would try bettering your connection. If you're using WiFi, use a wired connection. Beyond that, try contacting your ISP to forward your ports. That seems to fix a lot of issues.

Its the up coming changes to the ISP mine crashed twice today because of unreadable DNS errors.

Thank you so much guys! I called my ISP and there was indeed a problem with the router. Did a Brayflox run just now and everything seems to be fine.
