    Errr... Huh!?
Anyways, there's already a password IIRC you can find @ Mog Station to unlink your authenticator. Just check it out, write it down and keep it at a safe place. It's really that simple.

English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

Thank you for saying what I came here to say.

Clearly the TC needs a "reality_check" of his own.

You don't understand how SMS verification works.

You just read the first two sentences of my post.

Right now, authenticator is the only way to "protect" your account. But, when you use it you're required to enter a new password each time you log in. It's annoying and a hassle.

SMS verification lets you link your account to a mobile number. If someone tries to change the account password or information, you get a text message notification. Or, if you forget your password you can have a new code texted to you without having to answer a security question.

Long story short for those of you who just like to read the first two sentences and criticize a post:

SMS verification replaces security questions in the event that someone does get your password or account information, or you wish to change your account password.
