If you cant beat Turn 5 now theres no chance in hell your beating Turn 6. So whats the point in progression if your gonna hit another brick wall right after.

I spent weeks on T5 with my group before they added in the echo buff. Absolutely weeks. We were dying because we were getting used to the mechanics and obviously, even if you as a person know the whole fight, you still got 7 others who need to know it too. So it was difficult. But we did it. Just took a lot of practice. It took ages and we got annoyed at each other but honestly, it was the most fun I've had on the game! It just requires a lot of getting used to. Honestly, after conflags/divebombs it's an absolute breeze! :P Once you've got that down, you've done it. Echo is probably a good help but it doesn't help idiots. Echo won't help you dodge better or know when to run with twisters. Just need to practice and learn the fight.
T5 is hard .
Step 1 learn the mechanics
Step 2 get past the transitions
Once you have the mechanics in each phase its very easy, it's usually transitioning between phases that kills you. Positioning Twin to drop neurolinks in the correct place will help you transition.
Also bring a paladin for the dreadknights if you ever get that far. Good luck.
I find this and Leviathan Ex to be incredibly easy, but I've never seen a clear of either. Usually there's 1-2 bad people in every party who drag the entire raid down. I know 5 other good players who I party up with for the attempts, but it's always those last 2 who screw it up. I've tried Leviathan Ex ever since my first clear of Titan Ex a week after the last patch came out, and I've seen no clear. Turn 5 I've attempted since before that and still seen no clear.
The part that makes this way too hard is usually because 1 failure on anybody's end equals a wipe. It's easy to avoid this with people who know the battles, but then you get those people who don't, despite you putting down in the party finder "Experienced players only", and it just becomes way too hard and annoying. Since we're seeing a higher increase in endgame players who know not how to play their class or do the instances and whatnot, it feels impossible just due to the odds of getting a good group going down.
I must be blind but I cannot see where the OP ever speaks of wanting or needing 2nd coil. They appear to need turn 5 win to enjoy the game from what I could see. Yet this thread is filled with comments on how difficult 2nd Coil of Bahamut is. Why even bring it up if were only talking about T5? TMI ? I dunno. Let's understand the OP is not there and help them with what they are on atm. Baby steps not giant leaps.
Point is, there's not much we can do.I must be blind but I cannot see where the OP ever speaks of wanting or needing 2nd coil. They appear to need turn 5 win to enjoy the game from what I could see. 1) Watch a video guide
2) Find some friends
3) Kill the dragon
Apart from this, everything else comes with practice, situational awareness and, generally speaking, skill.
That's all.

Seriously...?
Almost the whole entire fight is "know when to move where"
That's all.
