Really? I have been two months playing and what you say is new for me... So maybe there's the failure... If they are really taking actions about players that buy gil... They should advertise all the players better, saying it for example when about to log, or in the message of logging, because it is clearly failing, people doesn't know they can get banned, so they buy, so RMT stills...

The did take action quite a while ago close to launch by removing a large quantity of gil from various accounts flagged for buying gil off of RMT. Then people got onto the forums, claimed they were innocent, community believed them and there was outrage. That's the kind of thing they have to deal with when they take action and I can guarantee it would be much worse if those players were banned and didn't just get a slap on the wrist.

I can almost bet a large portion of the my account got hack people that go and make new characters are actually banned gil buyers. Hackers aren't gonna go through the trouble of getting an account to delete it.
