Idea - How to finish with the RMT.

#1 But a Good idea is put a limit on how many characters you can create with that account once you start up your first character.
Example, Once first character has been created you cant create another one for least 3-7 days.
This would slow down RMT character creation after being jailed and starting up another character with same account.

#2 Limitation on shouts and tells by 20 a min.

Doing these first 2 will slow them down or use the need to create more characters/accounts.

#1 They actually have this. Unfortunately it's a very generous 6 characters per day.
#2 I've told people to send me a tell when they manage to create their character. It's easier for a friend on a new character to tell me than it is for me to keep searching for them. I've also sometimes created a character to visit friends on other servers. /tell restrictions would suck greatly XD I think 1 tell every 15-30 secs is a reasonable limit.

I didn't read whole thread but I never recall seeing as to why they can't ban the entire account to make them stop having the ability to just create new characters? Make them buy the entire game again, that should slow them down.

Or does SE still want the money form the SUBS? And this whole announcement on RMT account banning is a facade.

I must be missing something that sounds too simple.

I know WoW did a rolling timer, if you hit it once it would squelch you for 1 minute, if you tried again within that minute it would squelch you for 5, and so forth.

Having in mind all the ideas for stopping RMT, and even easiest ones like this.... And thinking that they have not yet did it and stopped RMT makes me think... But, well, I'll reserve my words, I don't want to insinuate anything.
