Not sure of your context. Server Cost has nothing to do you Cash, this is about, bandwidth, memory and processing. The went the cost effective way by not having BL's (which are nothing more then a filter, they don't actually stop anything) on the servers.Usually "cost too high" is through a perspective. Just because a Lamborghini is expensive to me doesn't make the cost too high for people like Bill Gates. If they have the reported "2 million users" there's no way server costs would be too high from their perspective. Also, its kind of their own fault with how they set up servers in the first place. The servers could be set up in a lot more efficient way than currently are. Also, what makes it any different from the game checking to see if a character is deleted or server transferred? Rhetorical question, no reason it can't. It really doesn't add anything that's not already here.
1 Idk if this was posted yet, I'm not reading through to make sure 1 person thought of this so add my voice to it.
On the first RMT tell you get, go to /busy mode, you can receive tells. Stay away from /bl, it's completely asinine to abuse that system on bots/RMT's.
If shouting and yelling has you concerned, there's 2 things that should have been made accessible to you when adjusting your UI:
1) Chat window should have ample space to read around 10+ lines of text at a font
of 12-14.
2) Filters can be put into place so that shouts and yells are located on another
tab/window; or simply ignore it.
I personally can't understand those ppl that feel bothered by a few lines of text (not including blanket text spam) that, by default, make no jingle or significant interruption of normal functions. No gil spammer I've received has had so many lines of text that had me sweeping the backlog to catch missed text with only 10 lines of 12 font text.
id say because WoW has different alliances and cant speak the same language as your alliance which makes it fewer.
