[SMN] Raging Strike is up whilst 3 dots are ticking, when should I pop it ?

    Hi guyz,

As said, I often run into situation that Bio2, Miasma, Bio are ticking but not the same time whilst Raging Strike is up again.

It's like "Oh, I have to use CD or wasted but .....DoTs are ticking,
would it worth if I pop CD and clip DoTs or rather wait ?? , but wait til when ??"

Any idea/theocrafting from fellow SMNs here when is the best timing to pop it ?

I've heard from people that if they have RS up and DoTs still ticking, they'll save it for when they have 2 available Festers. This is usually what I do for SCoB, but in fights like Levi where DoTs are going to fall off anyways because of jumps or add control, I save RS for the earliest of those moments

First make sure contagion is going to be up in the next 20 seconds and that you have 2 AF stacks.

Ideally I would say wait until bio is almost done then pop RS refresh bio > fester, usual priority, refresh bio 2 and miasma when they're about to expire, make sure you get a 2nd fester in when it's off cd, reapply bio when it's almost done there should still be time left on RS, miasma 2, contagion.

That way you get all 3 of your dots buffed and extended, plus a buffed normal duration bio, and a buffed extended miasma 2, two buffed festers.

Also try to plan your contagion and AF stacks ahead of time so they'll be available when you need to RS. You don't want to sit on cooldowns for a minute just for them to line up.

I may be misinterpreting the question, because I don't play my SMN very much, but doesn't Raging Strikes have to be cast and up and going prior to casting any DoTs for its effect to take place on those DoTs?

This is correct, but what the OP is asking is when it's appropriate to use RS again whilst your current DoTs are ticking, asking if it's OK to use RS then to clip DoTs no matter the timer. It's not OK
