Sujet : Anyone else scared on download time for patch 1.18?

As the days roll on and I see more content release I get really happy but then I remember.....

FF14 patcher made 1.17c take over an hour.

I'd like to believe I'll be able to play 1.18 fairly quick after I start downloading it but it feels like with the mass of people trying to download it and people coming back to the game to check on it, that I will have to wait at least a day.

Who else is worried?

But yeah, I get disgusting speeds with the official patcher, but using uTorrent works too well.

Meh. I've waited for this since April, I can wait a bit more.

FFXIV is a good exercise in patience.

EDIT: Official patcher works fine for me anyway :P Haven't had to wait more than 30 min for it to download/install for all 2 patches I've been here for.

open ports TCP/UDP 55296-55551 as well as port UDP 443 and you should get close to 700kb/s - 1mb/s download rate. If you don't well then there's always uTorrent which works very well.

I'm expecting the patch to be a good 4~5 hours on a 1mb/s download rate.

How do open port
