I know dex affects block and parry rates. What he is saying what if I choose to wear all crafted ilevel 70 dex accessories in dungeons for the sole reason of spirtbonding. Will the OP do the same to me since I'm not wearing the "appropriate" gear?

Well, the ilvl 70 dex accessories have str as well, and whether or not they have vit melded to them isn't that big a deal for dungeons. If I was a healer and saw a tank in unmelded ilvl 70 str/dex accessories I'd be like OK, this tank will have less max hp, but take damage a little slower than someone in i90 fendings. I'd consider it a lot more reasonable than a drg in crafting gear.

What if it was the healer or dps? Wearing ilevel 52 crafted gear.

SB in a dungeon is LAME no matter how sweet you wanna make it look just cause you do it, its just disrespectful to others, whoever does it is a terrible player.

SB in DF is fine. I would not do it with crafting gear, but so longs as it is primary stat accessories it should not matter. There is absolutely no need for me to go to HM dungeons in my full i93 gear. Might make a few seconds faster, but not enough for anyone to notice. SBing crafting gear is a little lame but as long as the person is doing okay I would not complain. I never check gear unless there are problems.

Actually I was more referring to i45 Dex accessories...like Spinel set.

Just cause you picked duty roulette doesn't mean the other people did. The duty finder matches people reguardless of if they picked DR or they just queued for specific dungeons. There are not many exp type mobs in the game to spirit bond.

Its more of a problem with spirit bonding in general then people doing it in your duty finder run. Honestly the system should be reworked so that you don't have to use crappy gear and kill mobs that give exp with it on to get materia.
