Am I the only one who doesn't automatically check the other players' gear when I enter a dungeon via duty finder? I only check if something goes wrong.

Spiritbond gear or not, all of the 4-man dungeons are too easy to a point where I wouldn't even care. If the dps check isn't enough for it, THEN you should say something about it.
You're just as "rude" as that dragoon.

If you're in FULL SB gear, you essentially lower your ilvl to ~7. Assuming you have an i90+ weapon on. They aren't high, but even WP and AK have ilvl reqs. Crafting/gathering gear is all classes for the SOLE purpose of the glamour system. Look at how they changed the new crafting/gathering hats to all classes.
I can't go to an NPC and buy all the white lvl 20 gear and still queue for the high level roulette, and that gear is BETTER than SB gear.
As quickly as possible means to do the dungeon in a timely manner such that people should be in proper gear and be doing/ trying to do well. No where did I ever say that I expect an SR. I always ask and access the party if its possible to do an SR.
Like someone else posted, if all 4 people were in crafted gear, sure, maybe you can do the dungeon, but each DR is going to take you maybe 50% longer to complete.
The point is, leave the SBing for your OWN time.
If your going to spirit bold gear...at least have it being the crafted DoW or DoM i55 and swap to normal gear for bosses. This would be less of an issue if you could convert the dungeon gear thats below i90
Disable spiritbinding in level 50 dungeons.
And make accessories job/class specific.
Tired of seeing people getting into coil with accessories that is not their primary stats, just so they meet the ilvl to queue. I can understand some healers in VIT, but cmon, most of these people are DPS using non-primary stat pieces that does them minimal good.
I only check gear to see what it's called for glamour.
Op, why didn't you give him a chance? If you can can clear the dungeon who cares what people are wearing.
I don't do that unless either a) I like the look of the gear they have and want to know what it is or b) I'm looking for a reason behind their less than stellar performance. Otherwise I just don't care. When someone is having issues though I'm fairly patient regardless of the cause.
I sometimes check gear when I'm waiting. If the tank's failing on hate I look at their gear and if that's ok I then look at the combat log and find they aren't using riot blade instead of savage blade. I seem to spend so much time teaching people to tank these days. Why do more people think riot blade is for enmity all of a sudden.
I spiritbond in dungeons all the time. But only as a healer. Never as a DPS.
Also, only accessories. Not a full set.
I do it when farming myths for my Animus books, and earn a little money on the side.
