Anyone else do FFXIV while at work?

OK, so what is it that brings most of the regular forum users here so often? I find it's a nice break to read what's going on in the forums while at work even though technically I shouldn't.

I even try to squeeze in a little play session to the game itself during my lunch break too, but for general hours it's safe to get away with forum browsing

Anyone else a little too FFXIV obsessed, that they're focusing on it at work?

I browse the forums and watch videos of dungeons I plan to do on my Nexus 5 phone. Then fit in some puzzle games. All this is on break though.

Years ago when I worked 3rd shift I would bring my PS3 with that on top accessory PlayStation monitor and played FFXI

I am at work right now and I am on The forums and I play on my vita/ms surface pro sometimes depending what needs to be done for the day.

Ever since I got it installed (secretly) at work, I can't seem to get through the day without having to at least login for a minute. I mostly login to send my retainers off for venture, check out market stuff and even made a craft macro for stack crafting so I can craft in the background while I'm working on my task.

I even got this simple program that allows me to hide the game off the taskbar so whenever my senior colleagues came they won't notice I've been slacking at work. xD

If I could get my Vita to work over the internet I'd probably have it up doing some crafting or gathering here and there. Some days I work from home, and believe it or not I get a lot more work accomplished when I have the freedom to just stop and play for a bit whenever I want.

I can't install the game on my work laptop 'cause our firewall blocks the ports needed to download the patch. One of these days I'll remember to bring my laptop home with me and patch it there.

But for now I just have some twitch stream up while I work. Unfortunately, too many of you dorks that broadcast on Twitch seem to think people want to listen to your crummy music or your nerdly voices instead of the game you're playing.

Hehe, yesterday when I logged in I was standing next to an area where elementals spawn. I'd target them with a dot while on SMN and let the pet finish it, then minimize the game while they respawn.

I'm self employed so when it's slow I'm on the forums and sometimes the game, though I don't do any team related things since I could get a phone call or something at any time. Easy enough to squeeze in beast tribe quests, crafting, gathering, or a few other things if I've got the office to myself. My use of a controller is a bit too conspicuous to hide quickly if I needed to.
