I was looking over the topic about the japanese forum post with the raid trap ideas. I would love for a lot of the ideas to get put into raids, it's definitely not something we saw much in XI and I'm looking forward to exploring all these dungeons with my friends.

But some of the traps were bringing back memories. The doors in Garlaige Citadel and Eldieme Necropolis or the switches in sky. What I'm getting at is I want dungeons that aren't instanced and are made fun to explore. I hope that instances don't hog the spotlight. Instances may be great for that end game content and tough group content. But I loved searching for coffers for artifact quests in areas that were difficult to explore. I feel like making every interesting dungeon an instance takes away from the magic of the world.

Currently we have dungeons-like areas in Thanalan, The Black Shroud and La Noscea. Don't neglect areas like this, make them exciting please!
