I'm pretty sure karma's going to come back to bite me in the scrotum, but I haven't recieved a tell in weeks.
As for blocking them, the blacklist works fine.

Actually, the last F2P game I played(SWTOR) had a much better spam blocking system. lol.

@the thread in general: if you don't get constantly bombed with spam it doesn't mean people on other servers don't. Two seconds after I log in I always get a spam tell, then continue to get them every ten or so minutes apart unless I'm in an instance.

That's true. DCUO had zero rmt spams and Neverwinter was just mainly shouts in the main hub. The spam in this game makes me want to punch babies.

What do people do that gets them a billion RMT tells?

Maybe you hang out in instances or your server doesn't buy as much gil.
