I would think the Rez must not have registered before he died. You can't be dead and get the log credit.

For atma books and hunt logs you need to be alive at the time of the mobs death to get credit.

Hell with relic weapons you must be alive as well. Got landslided at the last second when trying for DRG weapon. Party killed him. I got no credit. Had to do it again.
