Watching a cutscene and expecting people to wait are two different things.
And expecting people to wait = bad
Regardless I hope this thread grows. The more of you complaining the more I laugh.
We are in control, you lose.

Lack of patience = bad
Firstly, your logic is all over the place- so if it helps you sleep better at night, then alright- you "win".
Secondly, you miss the point of the thread.
It's not so much about "watching cs" vs "skip cs".
It's not a "us" vs "them" mentality so I don't know why you have one.
It's about treating others with respect.
So what if you don't want to wait on someone who is watching cs in a story dungeon?
That's your bloody business. State it and be on your way.
However, nowhere do you or anyone else have the right to berate or harass someone who chooses to watch the cs.
That is the real issue here.
CS watching just happens to be one of those things that "set people off" for one asinine reason or another.
Furthermore, if you're ok with harassing others then you are wrong.
That behavior is unacceptable and it should not be tolerated.
So, to spell it out for you.
Harassing other players = Bad.

Helping new players was the reason SE was concerned about queue times. They were afraid that without incentives to keep the story dungeons popular, new players would get stranded and unable to continue the main story line.
So yes, that makes the Roulette rewards essentially payment for enabling new people to see the story.

So you have no quote then? As I said, all I remember when reading about it was to speed up queues. Does that "help" new players by default? Sure. But this meme that the idea is new players are supposed to be walked through content at their own pace is not based on reality. On the contrary SE said kicking someone for watching cutscenes when nobody else wants to is okay. I personally wouldn't do that but there's a lot of assumptions of SE's intent being made in this thread.Helping new players was the reason SE was concerned about queue times. For starters this is an MMORPG, the fact that there is even a storyline is ridiculous. Why? because you're supposed to be some super special "the one" type of person, but guess what! so are the other hundreds of thousands of players. MMORPGS should have absolutely nothing more then world lore, no story line whatsoever. If you are playing an MMORPG for the story, then you are playing for the wrong reason. Single player games are for story, multiplayer games are for the gameplay.
While it does suck that you have to be treated such a way because you want to watch the cut scenes, as you shouldn't be treated as such. You do need to stop and realize that you are playing a game online, with thousands of other people, and many of those people possess a false sense of entitlement that feel that their time is worth more then yours. There are also people that are not there to carry or teach new players. They are there to get things done. If they are teaching new players, then they're fine with it, but otherwise they don't want to stand around waiting on you.
Reading your posts, it doesn't sound like you're mad about the threats, it sounds like your pissed that people did everything without you. Don't assume people will wait on you, because if you expect people to wait on you, then you're being just as rude as they are.
I never said I was harassing anyone, you can watch your cutscene all you want. But if the group decides to kick you and then you get mad that is the chance you take.
I am not personally kicking anyone out, unless they start telling us to wait for them.
also yeah, we did win
Hopefully you get reported. Kicking for watching CS isnt a valid reason to do it.I never said I was harassing anyone, you can watch your cutscene all you want. But if the group decides to kick you and then you get mad that is the chance you take.

Yes actually it is
Cut-sceners are the ones harassing the group.

According to SE, they don't mediate player disputes and it's valid to kick a player if they want to watch cutscenes and nobody else does. Check a few pages back in this thread for the quote from support.
