Wouldn't common USB keyboard work ? It does work on XBox 360 ...where I live, we do not find keyboards available for PS3/4, why ? because there isnt a market for it. Might want to not take your case as being the case of everybody. what is available in a place isnt in another, also compatiblities enter into play. I cannot use US material, is not compatible with where I live ...even if I bought it outside nothing guarantees it will work.
So, please, before talking and showing ignorance, which isnt a fault I grant you this, make sure you have all facts straightand more so know what you say.
As for clearing a content, what has this comment of yours anything to do with the voice chat thing ? what you just showed in your posts and answers is THE BEST reason why chat voice should nto be implemented.

SE has said multiple times that they have to be careful with the PS3 due to the limited memory.
Yet the system is designed to support a keyboard. And the normal communication in an MMO is a keyboard. Playing an MMO without one is ridiculous. It's not a small group of people, such as in some FPS game.
Yes, any standard USB keyboard will work, like they did on the PS2 for FFXI.

In game voice chat would be easier for pc players and ps4 players to be able to communicate but then again whenever I want to do that I just use TS3 on my phone. Works fine.
just a little bit of searching shows just about all USB (wired/wireless/bluetooth) keyboards should work. Don't know about PS4 but I have used at least 4 different usb keyboards with my PS3 from 4 different companies from before the ps3 existed with it and all I ever had to do was plug them in. can't imagine it's any different for the PS4
the reason you can't find a PS3/4 branded keyboard is not because there is no "market" for them...It's because they never existed.

I didn't know they didn't sell USB keyboards in France.where I live, we do not find keyboards available for PS3/4, why ? because there isnt a market for it. As someone who's played an online game with and without voice chat, I can see both the benefits and the concerns that go with each aspect. I played Phantasy Star Universe for several years (don't hate) on PS2 and then on Xbox 360. On PS2, it was far more similar to our current community. The Xbox 360 community was...well what you'd expect from an Xbox community.
I admit that sometimes it would be nice to not have to type so much, but the times in which people are being rude and rowdy, I think a lack of voice chat is great because it helps traffic such incidents. In other words, if people start acting like jack asses and saying rude things, their conversation is "recorded" and therefore allows for such negativity to stay at a minimal. You don't have people calling you all sorts of demeaning things.
Incorrect - there actually is Original Playstation wireless keyboard (bluetooth) for PS3 which also works fine (apart of the simulated Playstation buttons) on PS4.
Seriously? This thread again?
Simple answer. The game is ALSO on the playstation while players are on both PC and PS3/4 at the same time. Please name for me one game, just one, that actually supports voice chat between ps3 and pc users. You've got none? Shock!
I wonder if SONY might have something to do with that complete incompatibility. -_-
I wouldn't use it even if it did.
